We are Nigel and Michelle McMorran. We own and manage Hardyards Water Delivery and Lifestyle Property Services.
We are local lifestyle property owners so we know and understand the joy, stresses and work that owning a lifestyle property brings. We know how important water is to living in a rural environment. We cannot survive without it, our properties cannot thrive without it.
We have a beautiful 10 hectare property centrally located in Mahana where we run a handful of sheep that produce healthy lambs every year and a small number of cattle and calves. It means we ensure our land is at its optimum health and productivity through regular soil testing and targeted fertiliser applications. Michelle was born and bred on a farm, and therefore has a deep seated love of animals and the environment. It means we love and appreciate the land and are believers in ensuring that we leave the land in a better state than it was. It also means we advise minimal use of agri-chemicals, we promote and support the use of microbe soil enhancers to ensure the soil quality improves plant growth and animal health.
Michelle has extensive experience in animal management and will support other lifestyle owners with advice and support on animal health or management problems. Just ask
We have a steel livestock transport trailer to safely deliver small numbers of animals safely particularly where loading ramps are unavailable, or access is limited for the stock trucks. Check out our Livestock Transporter page
We have had involvement in emergency management and services for a large percentage of our lives - so not too much phases us! Nige has several years of fire service experience, while Michelle has spent several years in Search and Rescue, therefore we understand how important it is to be an active part of our local community.
We are extremely safety conscious so your health and safety along with that of your property, your animals and the environment are extremely important to us
We are owner operators, so we understand the importance of supporting other local businesses. All our vehicle or equipment servicing and maintenance is carried out by other local companies.
